It has been my great pleasure to have served God as an Ordained Elder and Pastor for approximately 23 years in two different churches, Dixon and Joliet, Illinois. Under my leadership both churches saw significant growth both spiritually and numerically. I retired in November 2014 from full time pastoral minis try and moved to Fancy Farm, Kentucky where my wife of 49 years, Ruth, and I currently live. I have served as District Director of Men’s Ministry, District SDMI Director, District Advisory Board, District Director of ICI, Pastoral Review Board and District Finance Committee on the Chicago Central District. Ruth has also served approximately 16 years as District Children’s Ministry Director on two different church districts. I am also retired from the United States Army Reserves where I served for 38 years, (1968-2006), in the area of Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare NCO and in Special Operation/Special Forces.
My philosophy of ministry is very simple. I am committed to the Great Command and the Great Commission. I teach, preach, and live holiness. I am Wesleyan through and through in my theological position. Without question God has called me to grow His Kingdom. It will be an honor to serve as Interim Pastor at Paducah First Church of the Nazarene. I look forward to working with each of you as together to reach the city of Paducah, Kentucky for our Lord.
